Our Bloomberg Trading Floor is used for teaching students on our taught Accounting & Finance and Economics degrees. And, other Greenwich Business School students have the chance use the facility too by joining one of the space's scheduled drop-ins.

What is Bloomberg?
Bloomberg is a premier financial service used globally by banks, investment houses, and financial analysts to deliver up-to-the-minute stock information and market data. This platform is not just a tool; it's a comprehensive gateway that unlocks a nuanced understanding of complex market dynamics in real time. By integrating Bloomberg into our curriculum on a number of our Accounting & Finance degrees, we equip our students on those degrees with the advanced skills needed to lead and innovate in the financial sector.
Our Bloomberg Trading Floor, equipped with Bloomberg Terminals, allows students to gain hands-on experience with the same cutting-edge platforms used by decision-makers worldwide. This immersive environment - which includes multiple monitors with Bloomberg TV providing live news - allows them to monitor and analyse live financial markets with direct feeds into the Bloomberg Professional service, and to utilise Bloomberg courses and personalised training sessions to deepen their understanding of essential market tools and strategies.
The Bloomberg terminal has over 30,000 functions with data from over 300 global exchanges and trading platforms and it also provides access to news from more than 120,000 sources, including Bloomberg's proprietary. Each computer also has statistical software like Stata, EViews, Python, SPSS, etc., among the other software available to Greenwich students.
